About Kevin M. Baucom

Kevin M. Baucom was born in Santa Anna, Texas and raised in Galveston County.  Kevin attended Texas A&M University, graudating in 1988 with a BBA in Accounting and Finance.  After two years as an internal auditor for a multinational hospitality company, he studied law at the Univerity of Houston Law Center.  He graduated in 1993 with a JD.

  
Kevin is admitted to practice in all Texas state and Southern and Northern District of Texas - Federal Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is a member of the Texas State Bar Association. Kevin is certified in Workers’ Compensation by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has tried more than 400 contested case hearings in every field office in Texas and has attended more than 1,200 benefit review conferences throughout the state. He has appeared in state and federal courts for hearings, jury and bench trials all over the state of Texas.
Kevin’s first five years out of law school, he represented victims of medical malpractice claims.  He helped to win more than $25,000,000.00 for clients.   He has argued and won cases in district court in Harris, Galveston, Brazoria, Brazos and Victoria Counties, among others.  
When not working, Kevin is passionate about his family, live music, travel and photography.
